C4Newbie
The zones have stopped responding and the amp constantly needs to be rebooted. I heard it's a known problem with the C4 AMP so looks like it's time to replace. Anyone have a great suggestion that works well with C4? I have 5 audio zones. Thanks and Happy Easter to those who celebrate!
chopedogg88
Triad 8x8 audio matrix with Triad 8 zone power amp is what I have been using for all my clients and it works great. PM me if you need assistance obtaining those items. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk mujtaba.khokhar and msgreenf

tdougray
Above is a great replacement but If you’d rather not spend 4K out I would recommend taking the amp to an electrical specialist. It can be a cheap fix and sometimes a heat related problem where basically the heat sink just isn’t big enough and the linear regulator chip fails. It’s a real shame because the build quality is amazing but just seems like getting the heat away was an after thought.
chopedogg88
@tdougray $4k? is that Canadian? MSRPs are: Triad 8x8 = $1320 Triad 8-zone power amp = $1700 So, $3020 at MSRP (minus any discounting...)

No just my stupid fingers, I was just trying to say that a fix for his existing setup could be less than $100. A lot less than even 3k but yes your quite right . Matrix intelligence is important...but there is no reason to purchase an 16ch amp at $1700 without a need. Even a 12ch Episode amp is a bit over $1k if you want to stay with-in the "circle"
chopedogg88
Yes that works too since he only has 5 zones (and assuming he doesn't have any plans to add more than one more) Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
