Time2Jet
Has anyone integrated a TiVo Stream 4K? I can’t find away to allow IP control, if any. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Time2Jet
TiVo: “the news of my death has been greatly exaggerated”Still trying to figure this out. It looks wonderful, just cannot control it without standing at the rack with its remote. I can’t find a setting for IP control in the very limited menu. shupp872
I was curious on the same thing. My guess is the best bet is the IRUSB, similar to other Android devices like the Nvidia Shield. You would need an IRUSB, then a USB C to usb adapter, then install the IRUSB software on the device from the playstore. I don't know if this will really work or not, but there is no other IP control for the TiVo Stream 4k right now, since it isn't the normal TiVo software (with network remote code in place). I'm going to be the tester here, I think that will work.
poisenoire
I got one to test this week. IRUSB control works just fine - full access to play store and works with the OTG / Ethernet adapter. I can get Netplay TV to load but only identify with static IP, for some reason the UUID doesn't broadcast. Trying to use it as a decoder for Netplay TV results in a "UUID Mismtach" error on the screen whenever you try to select a source. Not sure if that is something on my part or a limitation on the device. I did note Tivo messed around with the google TV options as you cannot set a static IP like you can on NVidia shield None of that matters unless you are a Netplay TV users...for device control and a cool little setup the Stream 4k w/ IRUSB looks to be good. Time2Jet
I got busy and pushed it aside until now. Since this isn’t my everyday job, I don’t know 100% what exactly Is needed. Since I have never used IRUSB (I checked around and our techs and sales guys will only use it if a client is dead-set on integrating something requiring). They just always use Roku or AppleTV with IP control. Can someone link me to the proper IRUSB equipment and cables I’d need? poisenoire
If you go to the IRUSB page on the video-storm website there are links for the two things you need: OTG cable and ethernet adapter. Just use the same thing that is listed as for the Amazon Fire Stick. Works great. Time2Jet
