Update 3.1.3 firmware

Recommended Posts

The latest release of OS 3 introduces a major update to the Access Agent, giving customers more control of who can access Control4 systems through touchscreens and on-screen television interfaces. This release also includes updates to IP camera snapshots and camera views and enables automatic updates for T3 touch screens and on-screen TV interfaces,

I can already say the snapshot seem to be much faster and so do the live feeds for cameras. Always love a good speed boost

Stoked the access agent is hopefullly up to standards these days.

Now we just need a way for a customer to have multiple homes under 1 account and I think most of the access/account issues will be gone.

Need to be able to lock a remote (SR and Neeo) to a room.  I bet that's a far bigger use case than touch screen/on-screen navigator.

I guess with like 700 devices u can afford the Windows 10 upgrade emoji6.png - it's safer since it's not EOS

Lol! Yes... I guess... and I will be upgrading next week (and very frustrated to have to wait a week to upgrade to OS3.1.3 - especially as I’ve been wanting the Access Agent upgraded for a long time).  But I’ve been very happy with Windows 7 so followed the advice of not changing something if it’s not broken in this regard... Not advice I’ve ever been able to follow when it comes to C4 as I’ve always wanted the latest and greatest in home automation (often to my detriment).

unless what I've missed what you're asking, that's been around for years.....

When 3.0 was launched we lost alarm functionality through TV navigators.  I'm currently on 3.1 and am asking if this has been resolved in any of the later OS releases.  Probably more a question for someone like @RyanE

I know cameras were added back at some stage.  I thought security was also added back at that time.  I’ll check for you in a few hours time.

On the Neo what would be really cool is to lock the screen. The screen sensitivity is so dam good but often find me opening my garage or front gate by mistake when the remote is next to me on the bed etc. Would really be cool if you could lock it and unlock by holding a key or code. #FeatureRequest.

I second this. My NEEO touchscreen is far too sensitive. I’m turning on my wife’s bedside lamp every time I reach for the remote. Tried shuffling things around, but everything I put in the bottom left or right corners gets “bumped” consistently by mistake.

Any idea if this allows snapshots and video streams from different IP address (support for Unify Protect model)?

Can you give an example of your question?  Not following it.

I have cameras on different subnet than control system and can pull them in no problem.  That's configured on your router/switch.
