Window / Door Status “Dashboard” Via T3

I wanted to see if there was a way of creating a dashboard of some sort for my T3s. Essentially what I wanted to do was create a quick view of all of the window / door contact sensors to determine what is currently open.

Create a room called security and put all your sensors in there.  Easiest way I've found and been doing it for a very long time.

I know you can do this on the older Infinity Edge touchsreens so I would think the T3 models can do this as well (see pic below).  The real first step is to make sure your dealer has created individual bindings in Composer for all your doors, windows and motion sensors.

This and if you have lots of Windows, doors or whatever, use the relatively new Domosapiens Security Enhancements Driver which allows you to create Zone Groups so that one sensor can be set to tell you if any window is open, one can tell you if any door is open etc.  if you have any other Domosapiens security driver anyway, you don’t need the Enhancements driver as they have Zone groups built in.

Perfect... these are all acceptable options. Ultimately, in addition to a single view pane, I will be adding programming that will alert you if multiple windows are open, and if the Air conditioning is on or being turned on, it will keep the system off and alert as to what window is open so it can be closed before conditioning the outside world. You’ve got to love kids.

Then you definitely want the Domosapiens Enhanced Security driver (unless you already have a Domosapiens Security driver.  Zone groups is a must to make this type of programming easy!
