Control4 IR Understanding?

[Control4 HC-250]

To whom it may concern,

I am trying to understand how to set up my HC-250 once I have it and I'm going with a pretty basic setup. Bedroom Xbox One, Roku TV, Maybe Apple TV, two touchscreens, and an SR-250 Remote, However I'm not sure how the IR side of things will work. I've looked up the drivers and found two or three Xbox one drivers, however they're all IR. I'm wondering how I need to make the connections for this to work and if I need IR emitters and stuff.

(P.S I know this is probably a stupid question, but I just got into the DIY side of C4 two weeks ago, so please bare with me)

I take it you are an end user and not a dealer?  Assuming that is the case you will need a dealer (either physical or remote) to do the initial setup and bindings as you cannot do that on you own. Besides physically setting up the equipment the only other "DIY" you can do is through a software program called Composer Home Edition but your dealer has to do all the initial work and then you can make tweaks after you purchase the software.  I realize that doesn't answer your initial question but just want to make sure you are aware of the a dealer requirement.
