Chowmain - Light to Relay Driver

The Chowmain light to relay driver allows you to connect any lightv2 proxy to a relay output. This enables you to control a device like a fan that is physically connected to a light from the proper Control4 navigator sub menu. If the light switch is physically turned on or off it will also provide feedback to the relay bound proxy

Features

  • On/Off control from correct navigator device (such as fan)
  • On/Off feedback from physical control of the light
  • Automatically hides lights from navigator.

FAQ

Can you give us some examples of how we could use this driver?
This helps you correctly put a fan icon in navigator if you have connected a fan to a Control4 light switch.  It can be connected to any relay bound motorised device as well.
