Bond!!

Recommended Posts

I don't know if anyone has talked about bond yet but if not I figure I will start the conversation.

Bond by chowmain is absolutely awesome!! First off, the bond hub is a nice answer to the rf fireplaces and fan remotes, even blinds. But the chowmain driver for control4 is simply amazing. I just installed it yesterday at our showroom and was amazed how easy it was to set up. We also are URC certified and have tried the bond module for URC and still can't gey it to work right, the the control4 one is just amazing. It even shows up on the gui as a regular switch or dimmer or fan control.

If you have not tried the chowmain bond module then you really should

You can pick up a bond hub from home depot or Amazon for around $99 . Wr even added our cheap rf controlled projector screen remote on it. So now when you hit the macro for projector movie time, the projector screen comes down, projector turns on, surround sound on, TV off, blinds close, lights are dimming and a couple other items all in 1 hit of a button and no running relay and contact wires !!

Bravo chowmain.... bravo!!!

Thanks for the feedback.

Unfortunately with URC its a compiled system and as such its a bit harder to setup than our Control4 and ELAN drivers which both are setup on live systems.

Please reach out to our support desk (http://www.chowmainsoft.com/support) and we'll help you troubleshoot the problem.

I was going to reach out to the help desk but honestly we're kind of sticking with control4 for now on. I did send in my request to change my dealer account to control4 so we can use and show the different drivers to our clients but I have not heard back yet.
We love all the work you guys are doing at chowmain and drive central. Keep it up, very impressed and love showing off all the drivers you guys make to our clients !!!
