Samsung TV connection

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm trying to pair my samsung tv type: UE55NU7100 to my control4 programming. But when I klick on 'Pair with TV' nothing happens. I noted the MAC-address and the subnet mask. I also set the IP-address in the connection tab. Can anyone help me? I'm from The Netherlands.

Did you enable IP remote on the Samsung TV and follow the docs?

im assuming all your gear is on the same subnet?

did u follow the other part of the directions to enable IP control and remote control?

Most of the sets outside the US don't support IP control...

Oké, I think that's the problem then. This TV is from the Netherlands.. Will it be due to OS3 or not? That OS2 does work?

I have IP control working on European models.

They don’t SDDP you have to enter the IP manually but they have never failed me. Th TVs do however show up in the SDDP menu but when you try and add them there is no driver found

I have a Job with 15 frame TVs all on IP all European models.

On the Samsung tv make sure the firmware is up to date, Samsung released a firmware a few months ago (Right after ISE) to fix a lot of IP control issues mainly in the European market.

Thanks

M
