Repliak
Hello, I am stucked with the following programming issue (photo attached). For security I want the blind to be unable to close if the sensor is open. I cannot make it work. Does the script need to be in the generic window contact sensor or in the blind event when start opening to check the sensor status? Thank you very much! Neo1738
This just opens the blind when the window sensor opens. I am not sure of a way to prevent something from happening at all via Control4. If someone knows I would like to know.
msgreenf
You would program on the close of the blinds and when blinds close if contact sensor is open ,. Open blinds. This won't prevent it but it will revert it.

I tried that also but I dont know why when you try to close the blind and the sensor is either open or close the blind will start moving and suddenly closes. Code attached. msgreenf
You didn't indent your if properly
C4 User
Are the blinds closed thru a C4 command? If so, you can program an if statement so whenever the blind close command is executed, first check the window sensor status and if window is open, do nothing or if window is closed then close the blind. Neo1738
What msgreenf means is you need to grab the green arrow and pull it over the if so it is now indented and attached to that if statement. ? If window is open ->Open blind msgreenf
