Matt Lowe Posted August 14, 2020 Share Posted August 14, 2020 not sure if it will do contact closures on it own but you might be able to get it to trigger a contact. if not an extra controller that pre 3.0 could control it for just that instance. and those controller can definitely close a relay and activate a doorbell. phxcamel Posted August 14, 2020 Author Share Posted August 14, 2020 @Matt Lowe i do have a spare HC250. so could i just run a separate project sub3 that would allow the door bell to ring in the house speakers (important since i need it to ring in the casita out back too). i'm assuming that means the HC250 will be another audio source for my HC800 which i believe should have available audio channel. theoretically, could i just run that on separate control account and have full doorbell and intercom function via the sub3 app for iOS? Your other intercom devices would work.you will lose the camera from the ds1 too so you would need another camera.
