Steelermedallion
Can anyone explain what is different with this generation dimmer (LDZ-101-X) vs the current generation? Can I expect to have any issues with this version when rest of my project uses the current generation? Thanks

lippavisual
That's Gen1 lighting. As long as it was updated to Zigbee Pro, you can add it to your system. I've allocated all my original Gen1's to the basement and my kids rooms. Work fine with most incandescent bulbs. LED's can be a struggle depending on what you've got. If it's on Embernet Zigbee, you'll need someone with an older HC controller on 2.5.3 or less, in order to upgrade it to Pro.
Steelermedallion
How do you know if it is on Embernet Zigbee? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
mstafford388
if you do a 13-4-13 tap (top-bottom-top) and the LEDs flash for second then go solid green it's on Zigbee. If they don't do a 5-5-5, and if they flash then it's on embernet.
