Steelermedallion
My setup has control4 in an undercabinet which has little air flow. Thus, I’ve noticed that both the EA-3 and a few other items, such as the Roku device and Directv box give off a good deal of heat. Any suggestions on fans / cooling devices to keep equipment running properly? I’ve seen quiet fans referenced in other threads, but not sure if there was any clear recommendations. C4 User
First choice would be to locate all hardware other than TV in remote closet with active cooling.
Jfizzle
If you have an under cabinet rack you can add rack fans, I've had these mid-atlantic ones for 6 years and they're still working good. I cut out the center panels of the cabinet doors and replaced with speaker grill painted flat black to vent the air out. It's not super noticeable next to the regular cabinet doors. Matt Lowe
just about any fans will work. if you can get them in a way to exhaust heat out of the cabinet it is typically best in that configuration.
