I would seriously consider changing out to a dedicated C4 panel if they came out with a new version. South Africa C4 user Posted September 15, 2020 Share Posted September 15, 2020 So I see there is a new App which I am guessing is a precursor of a OS update on its way. Looks like something has changed on the security proxy although it also looks like backwards compatibility may be an issue as the app isn’t working properly for me. The security history option has vanished and been replaced by a history icon which has a filters option (which I would have expected to include the usual events, alarms and info but it doesn’t as far as I can see). It does however include the option to choose a date range via a cool new date picker... I can see opportunity here. That said, my history returns blank after lots of spinning... Prior to updating the app (ie on devices that I did not update on, my security history is just fine - thanks). The history icon also appears on the camera screen (although I get an empty result set there too). Not sure how this will be used (maybe history of motion detected recordings? Would be a massive step forward.) There also appears to be a new snapshot camera view (or has that been there for a while?) where you can scroll through much bigger snapshots... Full screen width. I suspect this may not be new and I may only be noticing it now... Of course this may also just be a regular app update... the iStore only notes bug fixes...
