tdougray
Does anybody know if someone has made a driver to use the BBC sounds application? Is it even possible or just a pipe dream?
zaphod
Possible but the potential user base is probably pretty small. How may people in the UK have Control4 and want his app? Demand from outside of the Uk is likely pretty small. For now what you could do is to use your phone and Shairbridge (assuming that you have an iPhone) to Airplay the content to your C4 audio endpoints. tdougray
Yeah that’s how I use it now but was just looking for a nicer integration.
alanchow
We looked into this a while ago. You can just download all of the sounds and add it to Control4's music library for playback for private usage. Otherwise there is a commercial licence for use if combined into a driver. Shame It mainly means that you can't 'just' build a driver, but you have to use the commercial license FOR EACH SITE (When I happened to look at a license for use of soundbites for a website, so unrelated to C4, full unlimited library license was $2000)
