C4S
Are there inexpensive 50-55” TVs that integrate well with C4 and are controlled via IP? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
chopedogg88
Roku TV but it requires a 3rd party IP driver.

Amr
I like IR or Serial better than IP, I know it’s more convenient but Serial is rock solid, zero issues in contrast to some minor hiccups of IR.
zaphod
Someone should merge the two threads that got created by the OP on this topic. IP has a huge benefit in that you don't need a controller in the room to make a phyiscal connection which you need for IR or serial (or at least you need some Z2IR or wiring solution). I have had an issue with IP with an AVR but IP with my Sharp branded Roku TVs has been rock steady for me every since I had these TVs - which is roughly a year. zaphod
I managed to snag six of the GC-100s for $100 on ebay a few months ago! Almost the functionality of a C4 controller for WAY less. But you need ethernet cabling for those, unless you get the Wifi2IR which doesn't do serial.
Amr
Yes, I have every device in my home with 2 LAN cables, wise move I guess as I can easily use these without the hassle of WiFi congested networks! I had 5KM Cat6 runs for my entire house, something I will be grateful for, for a while ... zaphod
HomeAutomationNerd
I'm using the latest LG 48" OLED and it's spectacular. 120hz, 4k, HDR OLED panel. IP Control via the Annex4 driver works quite well. Generally speaking, folks seem to say the higher-end Sony TV's have good IP control through Control4
Kyle Coolabode
You can get Roku TVs that size for 2-300 bucks and then add the black wire Roku Tv driver https://www.blackwiredesigns.com/store/roku-tv-ip/ Probably going to be the best bang for your buck. Most Sony TVs have really good IP drivers but are a touch pricier.
