Rodsshow
Good morning, I recently upgrade to OS3 with the new NEEO remote and have searched and searched but cannot find directions/instructions on how to add my favorite DIRECTV channels (i.e. ESPN, HBO, ABC, etc). Does anyone have this information that you can send to me? Thanks in advance!

I'd not you may need a dealer to set that up. Then you can tap and hold to favorite a channel.

Just to clarify, to favorite a channel, you must tap and hold from an Android or iOS device (Control4 touchscreen, phone, tablet)... There's no creating favorites on the Neeo itself. Any favorites (channels or otherwise) created on a touchscreen or phone, etc. will show up on the Neeo if it's supported (cameras, security panel, etc. are not supported). Thanks for your assistance/guidance! msgreenf

Yes I was trying to add my favorite channels via the mobile app, not the Neeo remote. Looks like I have to contact my dealer to add a "channels" option when I select watch. Then I should be able to add favorite channels. Thanks again!!

Thanks again!! dont have to contact a dealer as long as the correct cable cloud is connected to the devices. just need to open up composer go to the media tab and add the channels you like. This will be a topic we cover in our course at some point as well. patreon.com/waltstv
GregCAMS
Hopefully there are plans with a new OS update to not need to rely upon Composer or a dealer to do something like this that seems to be pretty basic

Issue it pretty large database of channels. So finding the correct channels numbers and name is not an easy task. Also honestly less than 5% of systems is install use this features. msgreenf

Definitely agree - competing systems have much greater flexibility to add any channels you can get to favorites. In addition you can create groups (one for dad, one for mom, one for kids) and assign them to rooms via the iOS app.

I think I'm gonna need my dealer to do this for me.
