zaphod Posted January 8, 2021 Share Posted January 8, 2021 Anyone have a good way to easily automate playing back podcasts through your C4 audio system. For example, I listed to the Pivot podcasts which has new episodes on Tuesdays and Fridays. I would like to be able to, with one command, be able to play back the latest Pivot podcast. Is there any way to program this in C4? I use iOS Podcasts or Spotify to play back podcasts. Spotify would probably work better in this instance. Does this work better through other streaming services that fully integrate into Control4? zaphod Posted January 8, 2021 Author Share Posted January 8, 2021 I will try that but I don't know if that totally works or if I still have to go into the Spotify app to pick the specific episode. If you do then you aren't really gaining much, you may as well just initiate playback from the Spotify app and play to a C4 Spotify Connect device. It will be interesting to see what Amazon does as well since they are devoting more efforts to the Podcast space having just acquired Wondery.
