programming motion sensor

I have a control4 Doorbell installed by the dealer. How would I program it to send a text message to my phone - 5407983482 - if the motion sensor detects movement at the front door. My phone carrier is Verizon.

What would be the proper syntax

I have Composer HE 3.2.2

Thanks in advance for help

For push notifications, you have to choose agents on the left and then push notifications.

If you want a text message as opposed to a push notification, you will need to have your dealer install an additional driver (e.g. IFTTT)

C4 can send text messages too

basically Email notification and the email address for verizon wireless is phonenumber@vtext.com and it will come to you as a text message

test it yourself - email 5407983482@vtext.com and see if you get an email

from there you can use the email agent or whatever in c4 to email that address and you’ll get it as a text.  I used that all the time before C4 had a native push notification feature.

You may not want to post your real phone number in a public forum :)
