Oferz
After power restart to the rack, the entire control4 system restarted OK, Except the Roku which is connected through Just Add Power 2g+ to receivers around the house. When I switch to Roku I see the following message on the remote screens: Connected - Waiting for an HDMI source. If I connect to Roku HDMI directly it is ok. If I switch to a DVD source instead of ROKU it is also ok. Any ideas?
mujtaba.khokhar
Check your Roku is powered on. if not give it a reboot it might have froze. Thanks Muj
Oferz
Thank Muj, But the Roku is working. If I connect its HDMI to a screen instead of the Just Add Power, I can see all ok. I have no idea why when this specifically streamed on the JAP I get this message on the other end.
ILoveC4
It was working before the rack reboot?
msgreenf
sounds like the calibration is off in JAP
Oferz
yes, it was working well before the reboot. Looks like JAP 2g+ is has an awkward setup. I can enter its webUI but from there it is all a single textbox where you enter unix commands.
ILoveC4
I’d reach out to BlackWire, but that’s who I bought my JAP system from.
Oferz
Thanks all for the comment. It seems that Control4 decided to read the 1st HDMI input after the restart rather then the 3rd. I have switched only the HDMI cables (but not the network cables) and now It does send the signal. HOWEVER, the C4 remotes that used to control both the C4 screens and all the streaming screens respond now only to the C4 screen. I am sure now that this is a C4 issue.
