jhetta Posted December 3, 2021 Share Posted December 3, 2021 Inexperienced home user here. We've had C4 in our house for 5 years. Earlier this week, we lost all connectivity with the C4 EA3 unit. I have power cycled it a few times and still nothing. I can see power is going to the unit as I see a red light inside when I look down on the unit. However, not much is going on from the front view. There are two lights that flash simultaneously every four seconds. They are on the two ends of the front panel. It looks like the far left is the C4 or Data LED and the right side is the Power LED. I realize that I need to have my dealer come look at this. Unfortunately, the dealer is no longer authorized by C4 so they don't have parts but will still help with tech support. Before I pay $175 for them to come look at it, I am wondering if anyone can tell me if the unit is dead or just needs a factory reset by the dealer so I don't lose any of the programming. Thank you!
