Control Nvidia TV Shield Driver 'Back' Button not working?

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

I have just installed the latest Control4 Shield TV driver in which everything is working except the use of the Back button.

I am currently using an old SR-150 remote control and was wondering if this could be the issue? i.e. Remote too old/incompatible with with this driver

From the screenshot below, I can see that remote's 'Cancel' button is mapped to Back button however pressing the 'Cancel' button on my SR-150 doesn't do anything. The other mapped buttons Info, Menu (per screenshoot) don't work either.

I was hoping that 'Back' button would appear in the Shied TV Actions (screenshot below) but no luck. I'm not sure something could be mapped to the Keypad with the TV Shield Actions?

Has anyone else experienced this issue or could kindly suggest another option to try?

BTW: I have also experimented with Chowmain Android TV driver but did not get the Back button to work either

Thanks in advance!

Hi Kyle,

Thanks for your response - This is the problem, there is no 'back' button setting that l can see to map to a colored button - The screenshot that l attached in my last post has Menu, Cancel and Info button mappings but these do not work.

Thanks again
