RussellB
Hi again! I was about to throw out two HEOS speakers I was not using and then I decided to put them in rooms that had no speakers and rehook them up to Control4. When I try to 'Discover HEOS Speakers' using the HEOS network driver it keeps trying to attach to my Philips Hue?!?! From the LUA log: 18:27:04:559 Primary HEOS Set to Philips Hue 1 (192.168.1.45) IP 192.168.1.45 Sets the primary HEOS connection as the Hue and then doesn't find the speakers. Both speakers are configured and work with the mobile app. Any ideas before I put them in the bin? RussellB
msgreenf
Ate you using the latest heos driver?
RussellB
Yes, but I think my HEOS speakers are not supported. I updated all HEOS drivers to the 9/25/2021 version. I have the original HEOS 1 and HEOS 3. I'm thinking they are no longer supported. I installed the drivers but can't remember if I ever had them working or not. If properly connected... what should Primary HEOS Connection be set to? Mine literally says "Philips Hue 1 (192.168.1.45)

I upgraded the firmware on them (they had not been used for a while) and even though they work via the app they remain undetected by the driver. I'm not gonna spend too much time on this. They are controllable by Alexa so I don't need them on Control4. I'm just a purist.
msgreenf
So they are HS2 heos not HS1. It should work. They discover via UPnP. So make sure you aren't blocking that on your network.
RussellB
Sorry if I mis-typed... they are the originals... HS1. The two I own have the "reset" button in the back, not the "bluetooth" button. I see they are now deemed as 'legacy'.
