In any event, the "red" theme is just much less pleasant than the old blue/white theme (again, imo). There is a reason red is typically used selectively and sparingly in UX/UI design. It's usually used to highlight or draw attention to specific components - not as a main color in the style. I really do appreciate all of the other improvements though, Mitch! Maybe this is just my setup but some of the text that turns red when you hover over it looks kind of blurry - like the text for thread titles or forum titles.
