NkySpike65 Posted May 10, 2010 Share Posted May 10, 2010 Can the Control4 IO Extender be located any where in the house as long as it is connected to your network?I realized most of the projects I plan on using the C4 IO Extender for, are at the far end of the house. No where near the HC300 that runs the system...The HC300 only "see and controls" the C4 IO Extender thought the network, so no matter where it's located in the house it should work right? RyanE Posted May 10, 2010 Share Posted May 10, 2010 Correct.As long as you have a good Ethernet connection, the I/O extender can be placed anywhere physically, as long as environmental conditions are met: i.e. not underwater, or in your oven, or in the freezer...
