Hi

Is this forum managed/assisted by C4 or is this a community forum ?

Solutions to problems on this site is very thin.

There are 19 pages of unanswered post.

Surely a product is only as good as it's support.

Please help us.

This is not an official Control4 forum site.

Several dealers and Control4 staff do follow the forum and help where they can. I myself have found this forum a wealth of knowledge and help. Possibly posters never respond once their problem is solved or mark it solved. I know I have been helped on here and read where others are as well.

Love this place. Helped a great deal when I as looking to purchase a system. Helped even more being able to see what others are dealing with and what they have done with their systems. It is a user community for a dealer supported platform. You won't find many direct solutions here for some things, more just experiences from other users that can help identify issues and maybe easy fixes.

My media broke on me.

Comes up with "Media Manager not responding"

&

"Error : Unable to update database"

I am using an EVA9150 and have about 10470 songs.

I since deleted 500 songs thinking that my collection might be too big.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step. :D

The next thing you know he will be down in one of the seedy parts of Chi-town looking for black market C4 dimmers and switches. If he follows the classic pattern he will probably move up to the the harder stuff like an HC-200 or parish the thought a 7" touch screen. :D

You're using your EVA9150 for audio playback?

Where are the files located?

I assume you're seeing this error in Composer? I am unfamiliar with "Media Manager" so I want to be sure.

Hi IloveC4

The EVA9150 has a built in NAS.

All music and video files resides on the EVA9150.

The error comes up in composer when you click on the 'Audio Files' or try to do a Scan.

The EVA9150 does not have a built in NAS...I have two of them. It has a built in HDD, but that's different than a NAS.

My first question is did this used to work?

Also, I've read/heard that using that internal drive as a file share doesn't work well.
