dentalben Posted May 18, 2010 Share Posted May 18, 2010 I have a Media Controller and HC-300 in my system, and the MC is currently set as the active Zigbee server. Any suggestions on whether I should change that to the HC-300? The reason I ask is that I'm trying to fade out the MC (connections, etc), and wonder if it would make much of a difference which one is the server (newer technology, slight improvement in performance, etc). ILoveC4 Posted May 18, 2010 Share Posted May 18, 2010 In my house I have 1x HC300 for Navigator, 1x HC300 for Director and 1x Media Controller for Zigbee as well as audio connections, contacts and relays.I am replacing the Media Controller with a HC1000 V3 to run director, and an I/O Extender for Contacts/Relays/Serial ports. When that equipment goes in I will upgrade to 1.8.2 and have the HC1000 V3 run the zigbee coordinator, and let the HC300 that was running Director run my zigbee server.I hope I got those terms right on the zigbee pro part.
