best way to add one command into the remote ?

I have a system with a Marantz sr 1501 surround sound receiver. Everything works great in the data base except power on (discrete).

The only way I can get the power on to work is , first press amp button- then on. The discrete command in the c4 driver data base does

not power up the receiver.

Is there a quick and easy way just to add the amp button to driver ? or is update driver the only way to add the one command that I need.

Have your dealer edit the driver. Shouldnt take long at all.
