kcarlasc1
Hi All,I have two C4 Thermostats for about 4 years now. They are running 1.8.2 and I have watched my electric bill rise and my units running longer and longer. Both of them turn off after reaching the set temp, but sometimes have to climb to 3 or 4 degrees above the turn on temp before they click on again causing the units to run longer to cool it down. Attacheded a screen shot of the setup... If anyone has any ideas it would be a great help
CFUG
^I don't have any thing good to say about them. All of mine take 4 to 6 degF of positive correction and all run the equipment way too long. The good thing is I don't really need them where I live. srhamy
Ditto, I had similar issues, and sold mine. Before giving up try:1. Make sure it is wired correctly. 2. Make sure there is a common wire, not on power stealing3. Calibrate to a thermometer.Even with that I had the same problems. One fact I was able to find is that the undershoot/overshoot is a little misleading.
