fdastoor
I have MP3 files on my laptop that I want to transfer to the HC500. Is this possible to do directly or do I have to burn a CD first? Just placing the files on a CD does not seem to work thru Easy importer. Please advise.
michelo76
You can directly send them to the hc-500 (it is after all a NAS). I have not used an HC-500 yet so I am not sure of the directory structure but you can access it under network and navigate you way through. Find the media directory and you drag and drop. But to simplify just use map the network drive feature to make it accessible as a local drive. Remember to go to media and scan. This what the audio directory looks like on my HTC-USB connected drive after I use the map network drive: Computer>00197C0 (\\000ff0021A7-HT\Media\USB) (Z) >I am pretty sure they are other ways, hope that helps.Michelo
