danlevine
I had another person today say the 10.5 screen is not worth it.Hey I was thinking, do you think I'd be able to pull the flash chip out of the screen, and put the chip or copy the partition to one of those viewsonic tablets (the same one that crestron uses). I'm sure it might take a couple of drivers for that device and wireless card, but I think it would be great to use a different device.
pebaugh
Not at all likely. First the flash chips are probably SOIC surface mount devices soldered in and second, the devices are very different and the BIOS is probably no where near the same. danlevine
Well the surface mount chips will definately prove to be a big hurdle. The only way would be to essentially rip the software off the system (Which I'm not sure if Control4 would be to fond of). The BIOS is not really an issue, more the processor it was compiled on. It seems to me like a stripped down version of linux running on an x86 processor, but I may be wrong...
