I have been using this Android driver and it's been great with VIP7802:
Platforms :: Control4 Drivers :: Audio/Video :: Android TV (drivercentral.io)One small issue is the REC button doesn't work, I checked with developer and there's no way to enable it! It's for our own system so it hasn't bothered us too much but would love to know if anyone found a way to fix it.
What about the other buttons for Bell? My concern was being able to use other commands like Guide, Menu, Back/recall, etc. I thought Record would be an easy one to have work

Let me know if anyone has one!

ShairBridge is the way to go if you don't care about latency issues. Put on a long playlist, it'll play beautifully.
If you want to constantly change tracks, or seek within them, get ready for some painful latency due to the buffering of AirPlay 1.
No sign of AirPlay 2 ever coming to C4.....

Sure, you can just use the push notification agent to setup a notification with attachment, then select the snapshot from the chime as the attachment. Then program the motion sensed event on the chime to send the push notification. Takes 5 minutes to program.
Thanks, but is there a way to get this notification to show up without that "This event happened at 06/22/2021.....etc" text?

Hey all,
Somewhere on C4's marketing for the Chime Doorbell I saw an example of a doorbell press or motion alert showing a snapshot inside the actual C4 app iOS notification on a lock screen.
I did see that there is a driver available that lets you set up notifications with snapshots from motion, but I'm wondering, is there an official way of getting a snapshot to push to the iOS notification upon a doorbell press, without the need for an additional driver?
Thanks in advance.

I can help you with it if you need
But this one only works with TCC thermostats?
I see what seems to be an official Honeywell Home driver for C4, but it hasn't been updated since October 2020.
EDIT: My dealer let me try the driver I mentioned, it seems to work well. Except I can't figure out how to get indoor humidity reading and control... -
Hey all,
Wondering if anyone knows what driver exists that will give me the best C4 experience with my Honeywell T10 Pro?
Also, any free options?
regards!

Hi there, I can help you test this on my current Homebridge setup running on a Synology NAS. Let me know! Thanks

Hi all,
Up until this morning I was able to see snapshots and motion recordings captured from the Chime for the last 7 days, but just a couple of hours ago everything under History disappeared, and all motion events since are not being captured.
Is there any known cloud issue ongoing today with C4?

I noticed that post, and no what you are seeing is NOT the same HTML page in the driver.
Note that one is an HTML properties page that is in the DRIVER (a relatively recent addition to drivers in general that is mostly a more user friendly interface than the basic old properties page with more setup options available), not a web-interface on the Chime.
In fact I doubt those snapshot/video recording settings are going to be available anywhere on the Chime itself now that I think about it some more - they are likely a driver function, not a device function.
I upgraded to Composer HE 3.2.2 and now it seems the driver properties page is appearing. I do have to say though, this properties panel has a lot less settings than the HTML page directly on the Chime does. The sections are similar, but it seems many of the more advanced settings remain hidden on the device's GUI via that backdoor link.

Recordings, if the chime is set up to make them, show up under history. Unfortunately the settings for snapshot/video are only accessible in the HTML page of the driver - and that is currently not available in HE - these settings may be available in the Chime's web-interface but unsure.
Same for the 3 snapshots - you can set press or motion up for either snapshots (and set how many) or for a short video (seconds settable).
Motion isn't automatically set to give you a notification, but the motion sensor driver should have been auto loaded and available, you can add a 'regular' push notification on a motion trigger, but note that you'll want to do some testing and tweaking on the motion - depending on the aim of the Chime, you may be getting a lot of false motion triggers and thus get overwhelmed with notifications. The motion settings should be available in the web-interface.
I read about the HTML settings missing from HE and found the /setup/network/network_streaming.html link in another thread. I was able to set up my motion zones in there, and change some stream settings, but there is nothing in there regarding recordings or notifications. Is there another HTML settings page that can't be found in what I'm accessing?

Hi there,
Pretty new to all this stuff as I just got my new home integrated with some small things, one of those things being the PoE version of the Chime Doorbell. I'm trying to take it easy on my dealer as I've overwhelmed him with so many questions and requests, I'd figured I'd leave the not-so-important concerns for this forum.
I was reading up on the Chime's original marketing that stated:
"Chime stores 7 days worth of video recordings in the Cloud for playback through the mobile app or Control4 touchscreens. For more comprehensive surveillance systems, you can pair Chime to record a local NVR for access to recording beyond 7 days."I was wondering, if anyone who's used the Chime so far knows where to access said recordings, or is this a feature that has not been implemented yet?
My issue is, albeit my Chime works fine for doorbell presses, I haven't figured out how to get motion alerts set up (they don't even show up in the app, only doorbell button presses do)... and also, when doorbell presses do show up in my history, it generates 3 snapshots per 1 press?
Your expertise is much appreciated, and if there's anything you think I should be asking my dealer instead, do not be shy to tell me to do so. haha
Thanks in advance!
Bell 4K Arris VIP7802 IP driver for remote ?

I'm also wondering how you have this set up. The Bell Fibe TV service doesn't work if the VIP7802 is not plugged into the Bell modem, which would then put the box on a different network (192.168.2.x for Bell), so how were you able to discover the device using the Zank app?
