We are currently looking for a senior AV & Automation Engineer to act as lead engineer on a portfolio of projects across central London.

 

The Senior AV & Automation Engineer will be expected to have a firm understanding of the AV & Automation industry, smart lighting, video transmission, audio distribution, IP networks, heating control systems, BMS systems, home cinema projectors and audio systems and AV Rack dressing.

The candidate will have minimum 3 years’ experience programming Lutron, Crestron and Control4 systems.

The candidate will also have experience managing teams of engineers and demonstrate efficient time management by delegating tasks to engineers to meet deadlines.

 

Being in or around London would be beneficial.

 

Your Responsibilities:

To install, program and commission all aspects of an AV/Automation project.

Managing projects on site from design handover to sign off.

Second Fixing projects (Testing Cables, Terminating Cables, installing equipment, cleaning rack areas, etc)

Commissioning projects (Building Rack, Programming rack, testing racks, Installing racks in positions, commissioning racks, installing TVs, installing touchscreens, managing IP Networks, etc)

Using project management software to give a clear view of project progress.

Being responsible for stock management on site.

Communicating clearly with office the project progress, labour requirements, material delivery to site and formal sign off.

Occasionally may be asked to travel abroad to Europe to work on one of our sites in Majorca, Switzerland, Holland or France.

Our Requirements:

 

Experience in terminating data cables.

CSCS or ECS card preferable.

Experience working in the AV, IT or data industry is preferable.

Any networking experience would be welcomed.

Driving license welcomed.

Job Type: Full-time

 

Salary: £35,000.00 /year negotiable
