Old ELV dimmer

As i have yet to install or use one so what type of fixtures, loads does the old style ELV dimmer support. From my understanding it was just for florescent fixtures with dimable ballasts?

I was wondering if it could be used in a standard fixture and with the following types of light bulbs:

1) incandescent bulbs

2) compact florescent bulbs

3) dimmable led bulbs

4) halogen fixture with either halogen or led bulbs

Thanks in advance, i have lots of these instock that i inherited and have no clue how to get rid of them

this might help you as far as minimum wattage and load types (you'll need a min of 10w for it to work correctly)
