dropacid
I just moved into a new house that had an existing control4 system. I have the IP address of the system. The problem is my external and internal IP range is different than the static IP of the system. How do you connect into the C4 system to change the IP, considering I am unable to see it on my network?
mstafford388
you can do a network reset on the controllers. to do this unplug it, hold down the link/identify button, plug it in. when the 2 lights on the front come on together let go. I honestly don't remember which 2 lights come on off the top of my head. maybe the link and power lights?? To be honest though, you'll probably want to get a dealer involved. you'll want to get it registered to you, get it updated, fix any issues, configure it the way you want, etc.
Racford
Where is the link/identify button? HC300 is plugged in but the power light does not come on.
mstafford388
if its plugged in but you don't have the power light you most likely have an internal power supply issue with that hc300, which is a pretty common thing. I forget who but someone on here sells/fixes those power supplies.
