No Audio using ViewHD HDMI to Component Converter

I just hooked up HTPC with the ViewHD HDMI to Component converter to my matrix system. I am getting video just fine throughout my house, but the audio is only coming out of the left speaker, and I cannot figure out why.

My current setup:

HP Computer with DVI out. Bought a DVI to HDMI cable, which is hooked into the ViewHD. Component cables hooked up to back of ViewHD, and other end to matrix

I have the Y Audio Cable goin from the computer audio output directly to the RCA Audio Jack input hooked up to my amp (not through the viewhd)

I have it it 2ch, not 5.1 (none of the remaining tvs in my house have surround sound)

Anyone else experience this problem with the ViewHD?
