I bought an HDMI matrix like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/8x8-8x9-HDMI-Matrix-Switch-/360455166417?pt=US_Video_Cables_Adapters&hash=item53eccd59d1#ht_963wt_1397 but I'm not going to use it (decided to keep my JAP system). Brand new, in box never used. $1,400 OBO.

Does a driver or RS232 specs exist for it?

Yes, my dealer created a serial driver for it and also copied the IR codes if you want to use the IR emitter. I can get a copy of both of them from him.
