JP Rizal
I've got these in-wall subwoofers. Works well but gives out a load banging vibration in the adjacent room. I did try to stuff with fibre glass insulation in the wall but somehow I think that makes it worse. I feel maybe I did not give enough space for the subwoofer to work. Is there a rule about how much space to give before stuffing with insulation? My next step is to add more screws in the drywall surrounding the subwoofer. cashmoney
The fiberglass insulation isn't going to do much if anything. Look at a product like EnWall from Dynamat (http://www.dynamat.com/products_architectural_en_wall.html). This stuff does a great job of dampening sound, though there is no perfect solution for InWall or InRoom subs short of spending tens of thousands.Who's subs ate you using? HookedOnC4
That's why I went with James Loudspeakers they are a closed box and are awesome... But I like Paradigm too. Very interesting system thanks for posting cashM.My Baby Grand Concerto's have a 10" Sub in each speaker...
cashmoney
Agreed... Closed box InWall or InCeiling speakers/subs are the only way to go. James, Triad, B&W, as well as other all make excellent sounding products
