cclarkie Posted November 1, 2007 Share Posted November 1, 2007 Two nights in a row now my media controller has hung, not responding to any commands from remotes or my touch screen. Anyone have any tips for getting back up and running, and is anyone encountering similar issues? The last time this happened a few months ago, tech support had me disconnect the network cable and bounce the system.I tried this two nights ago and after what seemed like a long wait, the system finally came back up. I ran the software update utility.Last night the system hung again. The media server displayed 'Checking hard disk pls wait'. This morning the system was still displaying the same message.I have a call in to my supplier but thought I would check here in the meantime. My vendor replaced the media controller and restored my project from my backup. I am now re-scanning all my music after copying it back to the media server.
