CT
I need to be able to cause actions in a control4 from an IR input. For example, I need to be able to press a button on a (random) remote and have the IR sensor on the HC-300 be able to "see" this and then trigger an action: mute the TV for example. Is this possible? If so, how would you do it in composer (generally)? Thanks!
LSDave
look on page 4 of the file library. Right near the bottom there are the IR codes.
CT
Thanks for the pointer. I can program these into the sending remote, but how does one use them after that? Where do IR events received by an HC "show up" in composer? How can I program using them? (JFYI, I'm running a 1.8.2 system). Thanks
CT
Got this working, nevermind. I have control4 & perceptive automation Indigo controlling each other using a GC-100. Indigo -> GC-100 IR out -> HC-300 IR inHC-300 Serial 1 (Custom driver) -> GC-100 Serial -> IndigoThe HC-300 to Indigo still has some kinks to work out, but the Indigo -> Control4 over IR is solid. Custom IR codes and hidden rooms are awesome.
