Looking for Full Time AV Technician in NYC

Cloud9 Smarthome is searching for an Audio Visual Technician to join its team full-time. This position will involve field work including installing, monitoring and supporting audio visual equipment for residential and commercial clients, installing and repairing a/v wiring systems, assisting our phone and cabling technicians with installs and support calls as needed, and performing site evaluations as needed. In addition, some administrative tasks are expected including closing work orders and performing industry research in order to make development recommendations.

Ideal candidates are customer service oriented, energetic and personable. Knowledge of audio visual equipment and troubleshooting is crucial. Experience with home automation is required, and experience specifically installing Control4 is a big plus. Knowledge of Visio and/or A+ certification is also desirable.

This is a full-time position with benefits, paid hourly. Compensation is dependent on experience.
