alex.w *// Posted April 26, 2014 Share Posted April 26, 2014 using the motorola dct series cable boxes, and I don't like how they are always on I went to edit the driver, they seem to have the power off and on code already listed. when i double click on the cable box driver, it powers on and off the cable boxes no problem. but i cant seem to have it implemented into the driver itself, so it automatically turns on and off in a room. brente Posted April 26, 2014 Share Posted April 26, 2014 It sounds like the power state of the driver is set to "always on"However, before you change it, you should test to make sure that the DVR will record a scheduled program in the power off state. Maybe they have since fixed it, but I have had a Motorola DCT DVR that would not record shows when it was "off"... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
