servpro
I have a WD Live TV that shuts off (toggles on/off) when I change video sources. The only way it will not shut down is if I am in the middle of a movie and pause it and leave it paused. How do I keep C4 from sending the power toggle command? I want to keep the WD Live always on as the boot up time is slow on the WD Live. I tried editing the driver, but that didn't seem to do it. Also, is this C4 or a WD Live problem? illcrx
You could edit the driver, in the first window you would need to select "Assume device is always on" Or you could go into the power commands and just delete the toggle power. Both would be editing driver. I believe the only way to stop it from sending power is from the driver.
servpro
Thanks. I thought I edited the driver and selected "Assume device is always on" already. I will try the other method. Also, I thought I read somewhere if you edited a driver already added to a project you would have to delete it in your project and re-add it. Is this true? illcrx
Sometimes you do, only if you make a major change, if you adjust an IR code then no.
