TGannon
Concerning control. Is the thermostat able to turn just the fan on and off, as opposed to heating and cooling? My basement is quite cold in the summer, but upstairs it gets hot, and if I run just the fan for a bit, it circulates the air, cooling the upstairs without having to turn on the a/c. Right now I do it manually, but hate to leave the fan on for 10 hours while I am at work, and my current thermostat doesn't have a program feature for just the fan! slemay
Yes - you can just turn the fan on / automatic (no off setting unless you turn the heater / ac unit off).

SLE
Is the fan able to be controlled from a HC300, or is it a manual/auto setting that is ony controllable from the thermostat? I would like to have the thermostat fan come on whenever a bath fan switch is turned on.Thanks
henniae
The fan can be controlled from programming. It can be set to "on" or "auto".
