HE Programming question re: alarm panel

I am looking to have some of my keypads turn from blue to red when the alarm is activated. I seem to be getting this wrong as when I try to write a script of this when ever the alarm is armed to STAY or NIGHT STAY the LEDs do not change . Any ideas of what I should be doing?

Should I be using conditionals or variables? (Does a True variable/conditional equal ON???)
