2bc4 Posted August 23, 2017 Share Posted August 23, 2017 Have an appletv connected to a surrounding sound reciever and c4 4 zone amp. When I stream music from apple device to apple tv when a video zone is active, everything works fine. When I chose apple tv in listen menu for a zone that is only audio then connect from apple device, the sound cuts out every few seconds. Has anyone e experienced this before and did you find a solution or do you have to have a video zone active? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
VINCELdUB Posted August 23, 2017 Share Posted August 23, 2017 Sounds like the Apple TV and receiver need a video signal and they are handshaking looking for it. There are hdmi audio strippers that can resolve this by inserting a black video signal. Cannot spec one right now. But hope it sends you down the right path. Happy Automating!!
