davegempton Posted February 2, 2009 Share Posted February 2, 2009 Hi all,The remote control that comes with the HC-300 (and the SR 250 remote) have infra red LED's.Is it possible to configure them to be an IR emitter controlled by the HC-300 ?In my home I have a TV paired up with an wireless A/V transmitter.This gets shifted from room to room depending on where its needed at the time.I use the control 4 remote to control the satalite decoder.It would be great if I could configure the C4 remote to also turn the TV on and off via its built in IR.Has anyone done this, or is there another way ??Many thanksDavid Gempton. henniae Posted February 2, 2009 Share Posted February 2, 2009 The SR-150 and SR-250 do not have IR emitters at all. The older V1 and V2 remotes have IR emitters but the hardware was never completed or activated. We will never see a C4 remote that can do IR.
