Jay-Hawks Posted March 5, 2018 Share Posted March 5, 2018 I have a Intex "Gheto" pool that I would like to control using Control4 but not sure if I can and what would be the best way to go about doing that. There are three pieces of equipment that I need to power and two of them (salt generator and pool light) don't really present a problem but the main filtration pump may. The pump is model SF60110-1 and based on the tag on the pump it requires 110-120V ~60Hz, 4.8A. I have also found somewhere else that the pump is a .75 hp pump. My thought was to use a C4-SW120277 switch to control an outlet that the pump will plug in to. According to the specs on the switch the amps aren't a problem (15A max) but it also says 1/2HP max which I assume is a problem. I considered using a C4 outlet switch (LOZ-5S1) and just plug the pump into it but the max load on that is lower than that of a switch. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
