RcNorth
I have recently purchased an Apple TV and was using the Network driver in 2.9.1 to control it. It worked for a couple of days, but it stopped working. Turns out I had setup the static IP wrong so after the lease expired the ATV was given a new IP. I fixed the problem with the IP, updated the driver for the new (correct) IP, deleted the existing C4 remote from the ATV and went through the pairing process as stated by cyKnight in another thread. After I enter in the code (0000) the ATV shows the spinning hourglass, but never completes the connection. I tried deleting all remotes from the ATV, as well as deleting and reinstalling the driver in Composer. Anyone have anything else I can try. Here are the steps cyknight posted. Step 1: Set the Apple TV to a static IP addressStep 2: Add Apple TV driver version 106Step 3: Add IP address to the driverStep 4: On the Apple TV navigate to Settings > Remotes and Devices > Remote AppStep 5: Send paring command from driverStep 6: Pair the device "0000"Step 7: Refresh navigators Here are the first few lines from the LUA tab 04/12/18 16:30:03 : Valid IP address 04/12/18 16:30:03 : Initializing connection 04/12/18 16:30:13 : Device not found, retrying... 04/12/18 16:30:13 : Initializing connection 04/12/18 16:30:23 : Initializing connection 04/12/18 16:30:23 : Device not found, retrying... 04/12/18 16:30:33 : Device not found, retrying... 04/12/18 16:30:33 : Initializing connection 04/12/18 16:30:43 : Device not found, retrying... 04/12/18 16:30:43 : Initializing connection 04/12/18 16:30:53 : Device not found, retrying... 04/12/18 16:30:53 : Initializing connection
RcNorth
For those that might have the same problem I was able to get it working. I ended up having to change the IP address assigned to the ATV, then go through the pairing process again.
