BrianD Posted January 28, 2006 Share Posted January 28, 2006 Since we are just beginning some of our first installs I think it would be helpful to get everyones insight of requests people commonly ask for that we can simplify through custom buttons.. Whole house audio through the click of a few buttons is something we are being asked to simply with the use of custom buttons...What would be the easiest way to set that up? Samer Shami Posted January 29, 2006 Share Posted January 29, 2006 Whole house audio through the click of a few buttons is something we are being asked to simply with the use of custom buttons...At the moment, this is definitely made easier if you use the C4 amp.As a starting point, you could create the same custom buttons for each room (not under all rooms mind you) that perform common multi-room funcitons. eg. play whatever audio is in this room to all other rooms, increase volume in all rooms at the same time etc. You need to define custom buttons in each room because this helps you track which input should be changed to our zones.If you want extra information, you need only reply.
