C4tune Posted September 5, 2018 Share Posted September 5, 2018 Removed the last IR bud from system! Switched a IR bud on a LG 42 inch to a serial driver. Never knew my service port 3.5 mm was actually a serial port! I ran a 3.5 to my EA-3 and all commands work perfectly, except power on. Bam! No more uninformed infrared devices if I can figure this out. Power on works perfectly when navigated to through setting -> av control on a sr260, but its not consistent when turning on through “cable”, “button”, or other devices. This is my first ever serial connection. Now trying to do on command twice via a serial macro, but idk the format. On command is “ka 00 01/r”. Should macro read: ”ka 00 01/r” “ka 00 01/r” or ”ka 00 01/r ka 00 01/r” or something else? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
